Grow and Blossom - Pre-Kindergarten

This new project shows a colorful collection of painted faces representing our entire Pre-K class. The facial paintings not only capture their unique features and expressions but also symbolize the celebration of watching children grow and blossom, just like the plants it will soon hold.

Serving Platter - Kindergarten

It is inspirational to ask our Kindergarten students what they want to be when they grow up. Back by popular demand, the Kindergarten class shared their career aspirations with their teachers. These aspirations were then used to create a custom, one-of-a-kind serving platter. This platter expresses their aspirations while picturing the likeness and name of each student who makes this Kindergarten class so unique.

A Floral Arrangement- First Grade

This personalized class project features handmade flowers designed and sculpted by each first-grade student. The flowers come together to frame a whitewashed mirror, reflecting a unified display that celebrates individuality while showing how the class flourishes and thrives as a stunning floral arrangement.

There is No Place Like Home - Second Grade

In this class project, each student created an individual clay house that reflects their creativity and imagination. Displayed together as a piece of art, the houses form a small community that represents the school we all love as a place of belonging and home.

A Day in Paradise - Third Grade

Nothing soothes the soul like a day in the water! While getting lost in this masterpiece made for a coastal home, you can practically hear the waves crashing and the laughter of all the children depicted in this scene. Each student made a clay swimmer in their own likeness to show a true "day in paradise" where everyone in third grade makes a splash together.

Nativity - Fourth Grade

Let the spirit and true meaning of Christmas fill your heart this May. As a tradition to our Derby Day projects, the Frederica Academy Fourth Grade class have modeled and created a nativity set. This nativity scene makes the original Christmas story come to life. As each child contributed to the making of this scene with their initials imprinted, this nativity set students have thoughtfully and intricately created a scene to fill your home with Christmas warmth.
